We run the same kind of hands-on checks for our own product decisions, and the lessons apply directly to how you build and position your brand.

Our Testing Process and Rating Criteria

Why Shoppers Trust Our Verdicts

We buy products with our own money, test them the way you actually use them, and publish the results without hiding the flaws. That is the whole system.

Hands-on testing, not spec sheets

Every review starts with a product we purchased from a local retailer or a major Indian marketplace. We run it through daily routines, measure real performance, and note what the packaging never mentions.

Local market context

Availability on Flipkart and Amazon India, warranty coverage in tier-2 cities, spare part availability, and service center response times all factor into our ratings. A good product that is hard to service gets marked down.

Value-for-money scoring

We compare each product against alternatives in the same price band, not against premium flagships. The final score reflects what you get for what you pay, including hidden costs like consumables and maintenance.

Durability checks over weeks

Mixer grinders run daily chutney batches, treadmills take repeated incline sessions, and phones handle heavy navigation and streaming. We report failures, heating issues, and build quality problems as they appear.

No sponsored rankings

Brands cannot buy a spot in our comparison tables. If a product performs poorly, it stays poorly rated. We also disclose any review units received, though most items are bought at retail prices.

Clear verdicts with alternatives

Each review ends with a direct recommendation: buy this, skip that, or consider a specific alternative. You get a decision, not a list of features to decode on your own.
